The Newcomers and Neighbors Club of Mt. Lebanon offers a variety of social and educational activities to fit many interests and provides a chance to get to know other women in the community. We encourage our members to join as many interest groups as they wish and to get involved in the Club’s leadership.
The Club began in 1942 with the purpose of developing friendships among new residents of Mt. Lebanon. In recent years, the Club has expanded to include new and long-term residents interested in meeting new people and making new friends. Membership in the Club is open to all women living, working or volunteering in Mt. Lebanon. Annual dues are $45, which includes access to our Calendar on our website and a printed Membership Directory with descriptions of all the activities and various social events through the year. Interest groups generally meet monthly, while there are also regularly scheduled events for the entire membership, some of which include spouses and significant others.
The Club’s activities are numerous and depend on the participation of members. One of the best ways to meet new people is to step up and volunteer to lead a group or help out with administration. New ideas for groups are always welcome as well.
